Mental Affirmations!

There are a lot of factors that decide someone’s success in almost every situation. One of the most important CONTROLLED factors that determine success is your mental attitude. If ever plan on defending yourself you have to make sure you have the attitude of a winner. You must tell yourself constantly “I like myself!” You have to keep your head up and always be aware of what is going on around you. If you happen to find yourself in a scuffle, you cant always count on having your pepper spray handy!

Below I have listed a couple affirmations I found to be very effective with battling mental bullying. These are things you must do if you ever plan on defeating your mental habits. Remember: mental habits are what make people winners and looser or victors and victims. If you tell yourself you will loose at something, a fight, then that is most likely what is going to happen.

When you are trying to defend yourself you have to tell yourself that you will make it out of whatever happens perfectly fine. These are key mental strategies that are crucial for success. OK so here we are, let’s get into a few tips you can use that can also change your life.

1.) Tell yourself “I Like Myself!” I try to say this about 50 times a day. I usually say it to myself and not out loud, but if your home alone and you want a nice pick me up, scream it. Who cares if someone hears you. The reason I say to do this is because usually during the day people are belittling themselves in their own mind. You don’t realize it but a lot of times you might say things to yourself like “I cant do this”, or “I will never have the money to pay my bills.” These sayings are exactly the opposite of saying “I like myself!” People harm themselves so much in a days time by saying those things, why not say something good to yourself.

2.) Always think in a way that is BENEFICIAL to you. When ever you do something, tell yourself you are going to make it out OK or that it is going to end up good for you. This can be everything from playing chess to surviving a life and death situation. What you say to yourself becomes reality. When you feel you are pressed up against the wall, press back. Tell yourself that you will be fine and that everything going on right now is there to benefit you. Remember that the difference between successful people and non-successful people is what they say to themselves on a continual basis. Stay positive!

Those are just a couple of tips you can use to win an altercation. You have to defend your mind before you will ever be able to defend yourself.
