To know the enemy is an amazing ability. Most people can walk down the road, see someone, and never know whether they are hostile or not.
I mean lets face it. Do you or anyone else want to actually look at someone and say gee, I bet he/she is a hardened criminal? No. Well, most don’t. I for one don’t like judging people right off the bat based on what they look like, or what car they drive. Let’s face it, sadly enough this is the only information we have to go by and that is what we do on a day to day basis. It’s just the way it is.
If you look at someone and they seem a little over the edge just be careful. Don’t stare them down and don’t try to start something that might just be in your head. However, carrying a simple pepper pen or katana might work if you find yourself in trouble. Now now, let get back on the serious track Matt.
Ok I was a little dramatic there but lets look at reality. How often do you hear someone say “ohh, it won’t happen to me!” Well folks, it can happen to you and it often does happen, to someone. If you want to be safe as much as possible then just be alert and play it smart. Don’t walk down dark allys by yourself. Don’t leave home without some type of pepper pen or self defense spray. And last but not least, try and carry as little cash as you can. Having credit cards still allow you to do your normal splurging but don’t allow a criminal to break away with your hard earned dough.
They key to all safety is intellegence and becoming more prepared than the last victim. Keep your head up and stay smart!
