People have been asking me recently how long the burn last’s once someone is sprayed with pepper spray.
This is a good question for anyone thinking about spraying themselves in the eyes with pepper spray.
Since I own a self defense blog and website, I will soon be spraying myself in the eye with pepper spray but that is for another post.
Anyway, the question still is, how long does the burn last when you are sprayed with pepper spray?
This varies for most sprays, but it usually lasts about a half hour or so. Some of the more potent sprays can last up to an hour.
The pepper sprays that we have on www.PeopleProtection.com have 17% active ingredient which is really powerful. Because of the high amount of active ingredient, being sprayed with a PeopleProtection.com pepper spray can cause some serious pain.
But all in all, its roughly about a half hour of pain and enjoyment (ha ha).
