With all of the crime out there, it is a valid question to ask, “when should I fight and when should I flight?”
Let’s face it, there are some times when you are being attacked and you should just run, and there are others when you should stay and protect yourself.
This is pretty easy to explain so I will not go into some drawn out explanation on when you should run and when you should fight, it’s pretty self explanatory.
If there is any time that you feel as if you are in physical danger, it might be a good idea to run…if you can. Sometimes you might be in a hostage situation where you know you can’t run without being harmed; you might wanna stay still in that situation until some type of help comes.
If you find yourself in verbal danger, you might want to run from this also. Now don’t get me wrong when you are hearing me tell you to run from everything because that’s not the case, but you do know that there are situations when you should just walk away.
If you are being verbally battered, you might not wanna stand for that. Some people thrive off of punishing the weak minded and you do not want to be one of those people. You have to be strong and consistent. Be fair when its time to be fair, admit your wrong doings, and defend yourself when you know your right!
If all else fails and an argument is getting nowhere, end it and move on. You will not accomplish anything when you are arguing with someone that makes no sense and just wants to argue.
Overall, knowing when to fight or flight, is programmed in your very soul. If you are in danger you know you should get out of there, FAST.
I guess the main point of this post was to explain the different situations one might want to fight or flight while in a verbal confrontation.
I hope this helped somewhat and if you have any questions, leave them in comment section below.
