Buy Pepper Spray In Las Vegas

Posted by On February - 3 - 2010

Apparently there is a shortage of pepper spray in Las Vegas.

I receive several e-mails a day asking me if I know of anywhere that people can buy pepper spray in Vegas.

Well to be honest, NO. I am not from the area and I have the slightest idea as to where to buy pepper spray in Las Vegas. I do, however, know where to buy it online.

As you might already know, www.PeopleProtection.com sells pepper spray, and lucky for you Vegas people out there, we can sell it to you. We can even have it shipped to Vegas within a day or two.

We have several different varieties as well, such as large pepper sprays, small pepper sprays, and even pink ones for the ladies.

I honestly couldn’t tell you where to buy it in Vegas but if you buy it online, PeopleProtection.com is the way to go. Did I mention that we have a flat rate shipping cost of $5 no matter how much you buy? Yeah, petty awesome.

Well sorry to go off on a tangent here but I just needed to answer that question for the readers out there.

I hope this helps. If you want to buy pepper spray in Las Vegas then look no further, check out PeopleProtection.com!

So when you finally decide whether or not to buy a self defense product, which one should you buy?

As you probably know, there is a huge difference between buying pepper spray and or stun guns.

So which one should you purchase; should you buy pepper spray or should you buy a stun gun?

Well let me give you a few tips and suggestions as to what I think you should do.

When you buy pepper spray, there are a couple of advantages you take over owning a stun gun. The main thing is the cost. Now I know that stun guns are really good and I even own a couple myself, but they are a little more expensive than buying pepper spray. You can pick up pepper spray for around $15 or so and a stun gun for almost double that.

And everyone knows that with the crazy economy that is going on right now, saving every dollar can mean life or death. Just keep in mind that you do not want to be cheap here. Spending a little bit of money is OK when you are possibly saving your life.

Another great advantage to owning pepper sprays instead of stun guns are their versatility. When you have a stun gun you have to be in close proximity to the person you are using it on for it to be effective. With pepper spray you can be as far as 15 feet away when you spray someone. I know you cans see the advantages to this already.

I personally have my family members keep a spray on them and in their vehicle. This allows for double the safety and can’t really be accomplished when spending double the amount on a stun gun. So buy a couple and keep one in the house, in the car, and one on your person. It’s only a few more dollars and can mean the difference between life and death.

Finally we have size. When you buy spray’s you are buying a small 3oz bottle that easily fits anywhere you want it to, well…almost. A stun gun is a little bigger and takes up more room. I know this isn’t a huge factor but it plays a part none the less.

So I hope that answers the questions you might have had in regards to what you should buy. And now you know why it is better to always buy pepper spray.

So after reading all of that awesome information, did you think I would let you leave without first giving you some information as to where you might buy this awesome product called pepper spray? I’m not that mean. Here you go: Buy Pepper Spray Police Pepper Spray

How To Make A Stun Gun

Posted by On August - 18 - 2009

So without boring you with a long how-to list, I decided to borrow a little video off of YouTube.

I watched this before and thought it was pretty amazing.

This guy takes a disposable camera and somehow turns it into a working stun gun.

Might I add that this little piece has some kick to it as you will see at the end.

All in all this is basically how to make a stun gun. If you have any ideas as how to make a better stun gun, let me know in the comment section below.

There you go.

How to Pick the Right Safe!

Posted by User Image On April - 20 - 2009

There are a couple things on Twitter people have been asking me about and one of them is in regards to safes. People want to know which one they should choose and which ones are the best.

This is a very easy question for me since I have had my house broken into and my stuff stolen before. About six months ago someone broke into my house while I was gone and stole upwards of $6000.00 of merchandise from me. The one thing they stole that I thought they would never be able to take was my 300 pound safe.

This safe took both me and two other people to get it upstairs and in my office. Just the sheer size of it made me think that it was never going anywhere. Little did I know size didn’t matter much. They came in and took the safe and somehow got it open from the remnants I found the next street over.

Anyway here is what I recommend when buying a safe.

1.) Make sure it is heavy and that it has bolts included that can be bolted to the floor. This was the part of the equation I neglected when I brought my safe home. Once a safe is stolen there is a 75% chance they will be able to get into it if they really want whats inside. If its bolted down they pretty much have no chance of getting in unless they are high tech burglars.

2.) Make sure its expensive. My safe was around $300.00 and weighed about 300 pounds. That’s about a dollar a pound which seems to have served myself and fellow friends with safe purchases. You get what you pay for so don’t make the mistake of buying cheap when it comes to a good safe.

3.) Make sure it is fire proof to the highest degree. Usually manufacturers go by the hours a safe can stand being in a fire.

4.) Make sure it is at least water resistant. Water can fit anywhere so don’t go too crazy with this one but at least having one that is resistant is a good idea.

There you have it. If you follow these four rules you should never have a problem with your safe. As always, if you have questions please leave them in the comment section below. Comparison: Standard Safe Vs. Hidden Safe

Posted by User Image On February - 20 - 2009

When you are choosing a self defense product you have to make sure you know what your doing. Knowing the differences between products is key and that is what I plan on doing. I want to show you the difference between standard safes and hidden safes, this way when you make a choice to buy you will be educated enough to make the right decision. So let’s take a look at these two products to see what we have.

STANDARD SAFE Vs. HIDDEN SAFE

PROS: Standard Safe

-A standard lock and key/combination safe is very effective for keeping valuables and important documents secure.

-A standard safe is usually heavy and not easily picked up if a robbery occurs.

-A standard safe has usually either a lock and key or a combination which make it extremely hard to break into.

CONS: Standard Safe

-If they are not bolted down to the ground they can be picked up and taken away. This occurs even if the safe is very heavy. (Trust me, I know from experience.)

-They can be very costly, especially if you only need it to a few things in.

-Their warranties suck. Make sure you check the specifics before buying.

PROS: Hidden Safe

-Usually small and compact making it easy to move and blend in with the house decorations.

-Usually camouflaged very well making it hard for guests and robbers to identify.

-Not very expensive. Between $30.00 and $100.00

CONS: Hidden Safe

-Can be detected if robbers know what to look for.

-Usually cannot hold more than a few items at a time making hard to keep large valuable safe.

There you go. Now that you have something to go by you shouldn’t have a problem picking the right safe. What ever you choose make sure you pick something you feel comfortable with and fits your needs. And remember, if you have any questions you can e-mail me at info@peopleprotection.com or just leave a comment below. Good luck!

Comparison: Pepper Spray Vs. Stun Gun

Posted by User Image On December - 30 - 2008

When you are choosing a self defense product you have to make sure you know what your doing. Knowing the differences between products is key and that is what I plan on doing. I want to show you the difference between pepper spray and stun guns, this way when you make a choice to buy you will be educated enough to make the right decision. So let’s take a look at the world famous pepper vs. the notorious stun gun.

PEPPER SPRAY   VS.  STUN GUN

–Pepper spray has a range of about 10 feet. This way you do not have to be within close proximity to use the spray.

–Stun guns have to come in direct contact with the body. This makes it a little harder to keep your distance as you can imagine.

–Pepper spray’s main ingredient in capsaicin which is a chemical derived from hot peppers. The only thing one should be concerned with is the ability to build up a tolerance to that chemical. Although it is very unlikely it can happen. Just like eating a hot pepper, once you eat enough of them, you become tolerant.

–Stun gun’s on the other hand conduct electricity which people cannot get used to. If you get stunned your pretty much down for the count. With stun guns ranging anywhere from 50,000 - 1,000,000 volts of electricity you are sure to find something that will stop an assailant.

–Pepper spray’s cost anywhere from $5.00 - $30.00 depending on size.

–Stun gun’s range from $30.00 - $200.00.

–A pepper spray’s size is relatively small allowing it to fit easily in your pocket or purse.

–A stun gun is not much bigger than a pepper spray but big enough to stand out in either your purse or pocket.

There you go. Now that you have something to go by you shouldn’t have a problem picking the right self defense product. What ever you choose make sure you pick something you feel comfortable with and fits your needs. And remember, if you have any questions you can e-mail me at info@peopleprotection.com or just leave a comment below. Good luck!
