Keep Your Head High!

Posted by admin On October - 22 - 2009

I know of a lot of people out there that have been victimized.

When someone is victimized it can be a daunting experience. They walk around moaning and groaning wishing whatever happened to them wouldn’t have.

When my house was broken into there was a brief period when I thought my life was over. I mean come on, these people stole some things from my house. Is is really that bad? I had insurance and everything was replaced monetarily.

After wining for a couple hours I finally realized that this was not something I should be doing.

I should keep it into perspective and stay positive. So I did and at that moment I knew that the situation with my house being broken into was actually a blessing in disguise.

After I received my insurance check I paid off a lot of my debt and I now have almost everything back that was stolen from me.

So when you find yourself being victimized in one way or another remember that every cloud has a silver lining.

Stay positive and good luck.

Helping Battered Woman’s Shelters!

Posted by admin On September - 24 - 2009

So it has been almost a year now since I have started this blog.

I have been updating it with posts and information regarding any and all types of self defense.

I just wanted to make a post thanking everyone that has helped me get this far.

As you already know I make my money by helping people with their self defense needs by selling self defense products. At www.peopleprotection.com we sell everything from pepper sprays to stun guns.

My goal in life is to help as many people as I can not become a victim.

If you see it in your heart to help people out too, buy a pepper spray or stun gun and $1.00 will be donated to the battered woman’s shelter in my local town.

Since you have helped me I now want to help others.

The Fight Of Your Life!

Posted by admin On August - 7 - 2009

Recently I have been going through things that I feel most people go through.

Like most people I struggle with my own thoughts. I guess what I am trying to see is that the only person that ever holds me back is myself.

Every day I am fighting with myself to stop procrastination and stay positive. Unlike the enemies and assailants I talk about on this site, your mind is an invisible enemy.

Fighting yourself is sometimes the hardest thing one can go through.

How many times a day do you think to yourself, “Man I should really get this done or that done”?

I fight with myself hundreds of times a day. If I am supposed to get something done and another, more exciting things comes up, guess what I do? You guessed it, I go out and go swimming or shopping or whatever the hell else there is to do besides work.

I know for a fact that doing what you should do over what you want to do is a trait all wealthy people possess. What do you think the rich people do, they do what needs to get done.

So if you are having issues like this I feel your pain. When you have to fight with yourself day in and day out it can become tiring. I would almost rather jump into the cage with an ultimate fighter than deal with conscious sometimes.

So that’s really all I have to say about that. Its a pain in the ass sometimes to deal with such mental torture but its very true in life when people say, “The only thing that is ever holding you back is yourself!”

UPDATE: Since this post I think I have come up with a way to get things done and get them done right. I am developing this product right now and I will soon give it away for free. If you have questions in the mean time please let me know. Good luck and stop procrastinating.

Bruce Lee Quote!

Do not be tense, just be ready, not thinking but not dreaming, not being set but being flexible. It is being “wholly” and quietly alive, aware and alert, ready for whatever may come.
The danger of training with the heavy bag is that it doesn’t react to one’s attack and sometimes there is a tendency to thoughtlessness. One will punch the bag carelessly, and would be vulnerable in a real situation if this became a habit.

Getting Into The 3%!

Posted by admin On July - 28 - 2009

I’m not sure if anyone knows who Linus “lemonarian” Rylander is but he is a good friend of mine and a GREAT online marketer.

Anyway, when reading something of his a while back he made a statement that stuck with me and hit me hard.

What he wrote in my own words is this; “Only 3% of all people, once given something of value, take action and do something with it.”

Like I said, that hit me like a ton of bricks.

Think about it, how many times did you buy a good book or an online course and just put it on your shelf? Even worse, how many times did you actually read the book and study the course and do nothing with it?

I am going to be the first to admit that I have done this a million times. Well maybe not a million but more than I can think of.

The point of this post is this; make sure you actually put what you study and or learn to use. When you want to better yourself you cant just put things on the shelf and hope they will work for you. It’s not the way life works.

Only 3% of people take action! That is horrible.

Since I am not one to preach without first practicing I have decided to come up with a test. This test will apply to me but anyone is welcome to join in.

I have read it takes somewhere close to 30 days to develop a habit. Since I’m a procrastinator (sorry I USED to be a procrastinator. Trying to change my self talk). Since I used to be a procrastinator I am going to pick one thing I used to procrastinate on and diligently dig into it for 30 days until I have developed the habit of taking care of it within a timely manner.

Every week I will post a summary of how many hours I worked on that particular subject and the results I have come up with.

I am not going to reveal the subject until next weeks post so please don’t send me a comment asking what it is, you will find out.

Ok so off I go to get S&%t done. Wish me luck and I will keep you updated.

My Bout With Procrastination

Posted by admin On July - 21 - 2009

OK so since I am always preaching the “how to defend yourself” sermon, I thought I would tell you how to defend yourself from something else, procrastination.

I recently came up with a game that both myself and my business partner went through with. This game believe it or not has helped us achieve an amazing amount of success. Not that anything or anyone helped us, we just got off our asses and did some work.

The “game” however helped us out quite a bit. Because of the game we were able (had) to do what we needed to get done.

I will not go into detail right now on what this so called game involves but I will be coming up with a product very soon that I know everyone will love.

If this “game” can take me from 500 twitter followers to over 9,000 and blog hits ranging from 10 a day to over 400 hundred what can it do for you?

Be sure you come back and check everything out so you can see what I’m talking about. Well, good luck and I wish you the best.

P.S. sorry I didn’t explain to much but you will see why in a few weeks.

Take Care!
